Summary

The purpose of this center is to elucidate the relationship between logic and sensibility in human judgment and behavior in multiple layers, which is inherited from the purposes of the 21COE and the Global COE. In particular, this center conduct interdisciplinary research on logic and sensibility focusing on human science methods such as philosophy, ethics, logic, aesthetics/art history, literature, and archeology, and social science methods such as psychology, behavioral science, pedagogy, developmental science, and medical anthropology together with neuroscience, cognitive science, and information science methods. Through this, this center aims to deepen the understanding of human beings and also aims to return the results to society. Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinaryness, internationality, and training of young researchers.
