Mobility Culture Research Center

Summary

The Mobility Culture Research Center focuses on designing mobility as a social infrastructure, through research and development on automated driving/driver assistance systems, disaster evacuation, energy saving in road traffic and reduction of CO2 emissions, from the viewpoint of safety, security, convenience and efficiency. This center also aims to support the collaboration of many researchers in the relative wide range of interdisciplinary fields. It is necessary to conduct comprehensive research approaches in various fields including transportation engineering, human factors, artificial intelligence and 5G/Beyond 5G communication technology and information communication networks, for mobility and services to be implemented in such future social environment.
