KGRI Start-up Research: Evaluation of Effectiveness and Safety of Dementia Medical Care using Telemedicine
Longevity
Summary

The number of patients with dementia is rapidly increasing, which is one of the most important social issues in Japan. This project will assess whether online medical treatment is comparable to in-person medical treatments for doctors and patients. Additionally, we will search for some methods that can be linked to the efficient diagnosis and evaluation of the symptoms based on the patient's voice and images through AI technology. We plan to analyze the re-examined patients undergoing the memory clinic at Keio University Hospital by combining the conventional in-person medical treatment with 24-week online medical treatment.
