KGRI/IoT Healthcare Research Consortium
Longevity
Summary

Japan is aging at a speed unprecedented among the major developed countries with fewer children being born and is transforming into super-aged society. It is imperative that we help personal health improvement and health longevity. This consortium objective is to research IoT sensing technologies and algorithms that can predict signs of diseases. For the future, we aim to establish a method (algorithm) for evaluating health functions using vital data and to develop and standardize functional age index.
