Spintronics Research and Development Center

Summary

The center for spintronics research network at Keio University (CSRN at Keio Univ.) is established to play an important role in the research field of spintronics. The spintronics is the novel research field utilizing both electric and magnetic properties of electrons in solids, i.e. electric charge and spin angular momentum, respectively. Especially, the electrical control of magnetic properties in solids leads to huge innovations on information and communication technologies.
