Mindfulness & Stress Research Center

Summary

The disease burden of neuropsychiatric disorders is so great that it is no longer possible to discuss health without mental health. We established the Center for Stress Research in 2013, and have mainly implemented initiatives to solve mental health problems in companies to improve the retention rate and labor productivity after returning to work. The Mindfulness & Stress Research Center will build on the knowledge of the Center for Stress Research to expand its scope to include new psychosocial techniques such as mindfulness, and to promote the organic linkage of these techniques and technology to realize a society in which all people can improve their mental health and wellbeing.
