Keio Center for Stress Research (CSR)

   

Summary

In recent years, mental health problems in companies have become a major social issue in Japan. These problems include the increase in the number of long-term absences from work due to mental health problems, the considerable number of the suicides, the increase in the number of applications and certifications for workers' compensation for mental disorders, and the implementation of stress checks. The impact caused by mental health problems is a huge burden for both the people with mental health problem and the companies. The purpose of establishing the Stress Research Center is to solve the impact of these mental health problems on society with the knowledge of psychiatry and clinical psychology.
