Global Security Governance
Security
Summary

As the manifestation of the conflict structure between the United States and China has brought about the transformation of global geopolitics, Japan's security environment, and its alliance with the United States and located in East Asia, is undergoing drastic changes. Specifically, first, security threats in recent years have spread to the cyber realm and outer space, creating new possible participants and different conflict axes in military conflicts. Secondly, in addition to energy security, which has had a great impact on security in the past, security issues related to the supply chain, including sensitive technology management, are becoming increasingly important. In this project, I will be focusing on four areas including cyber, space, sensitive technology, and energy, analyzing security issues facing Japan based on knowledge gathered from research conducted with experts from the United States, Israel, and Japan. Discussions will be conducted at KGRI and analyzed in a multifaceted and integrated manner.
