Summary

Deterioration of physical ability is one of the serious issues in aging society and it should be solved actively by artificial support. Haptic technology brings us not only convenient device transmitting the touching sensation to distant place but useful technology collecting necessary and sufficient information on physical motion. If such information is accumulated along the whole life of human being, more effective support in artificial way for people who needs physical support will be possible. The main target of this project is at first to establish the very basic platform of this technology then to show the usefulness and future prospect for coming aging society.
