"Internet of Brains"-Society (IoB-S)

Integration

Summary

Today, brain science and its technologies have made remarkable progress. By manipulating CA (Cybernetic Avatar) in both real and virtual worlds with BMI (Brain-Machine Interface) , our physical capabilities have been dramatically expanded, and we might now be able to control our bodies beyond time and space. This project explores the impact and meaning of these developments in neuroscience on humans and society through dialogue between people in the humanities and social sciences and the scientists and engineers. IoB-S ("Internet of Brains"-Society) has just been established to provide a platform for exchange among a wide range of researchers from inside and outside of Keio University, as well as from Japan and abroad.
