Nakayama

This is an educational program in honor of Richard L. Armitage, former U.S. Secretary of State, for next generation scholars and practitioners who contribute to the Japan-U.S. relations. Every year from 2017 through 2021 we invite Ambassador Armitage to join our educational activities at Keio and we send graduate students to Washington, DC to discuss their research results with American scholars and practitioners working in the fields of Japan-U.S. relations and East Asian security studies. This Armitage program is sponsored by twelve Japanese companies.
